Suzlon CEO Tulsi Tanti has sent his brother Vinod Tanti to Germany as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Repower, a subsidiary of the Indian Suzlon Group. The previous COO Gregor Gnädig has left Repower "for personal reasons", as the company has announced. Repower has also found a successor for the Chief Financial Officer Derrick Noe, who recently left the company.

DF82-1500, The Chinese company Dongfang Electric New Energy Equipment Co. Ltd. has obtained type certification for its wind turbine from the German technical inspection agency TÜV Süd. This makes Dongfang one of the first Chinese companies to obtain such a type certificate for a turbine, thus meeting an important requirement for its export.

TÜV Süd takes over British consultancy company

The German company TÜV Süd AG has taken over the UK-based Project Management Support Services Limited (PMSS). This move will allow the international test and certification service provider to extend its existing services in the area of sustainable energies.
