Tripod production is off to a successful start WeserWind begins making 40 tripod foundations for the Global Tech I offshore wind farm

Bremerhaven - In March 2011, the Global Tech I Offshore Wind company awarded a contract to ARGE Tripod Global Tech 1, a consortium of WeserWind and Erndtebruecker Eisenwerke, to manufacture 40 tripod foundations (three-legged steel constructions). WeserWind is pleased to announce that it has begun serial production in its factory workshops at the Lunedeich industrial area in Bremerhaven.
