Nordex secures 243 MW contract for wind park in the U.S.
The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group has secured a 243 MW wind turbine order for the United States. Nordex will supply 81 AW125/3000 wind turbines for a wind farm in Texas.

The Swedish energy company Vattenfall has bought Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group’s 25% share of the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC) also known as “Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm”. With this the company now fully owns the project, which was developed together with AREG.
Terna Energy SA, a Greek renewable energy company, has ordered a total of 10 Nordex wind turbines for two wind parks in Greece. Both sites are located in a strong-wind region near Athens.
A wind park with a total capacity of 51 MW is being developed in the Russian Federation in Kalmykia. Turbine manufacturer FWT will be responsible for the turnkey realization of the project, which is scheduled to start commercial operation in 2017.
