Offshore wind Cluster France: Dunkirk structures its sector and offers clear advantages

World Water Day: Wind power saves water

Wind power uses less water than almost any other power generation technology, the Global Wind Energy Council emphasised today, on UN World Water Day.(1) The wind industry calls on policy makers to take this into account in the critical and urgent decisions which will determine the character of the world's power generation infrastructure for decades to come.

Evaluation of Lagerwey L 82 completed

Hamburg - The Dutch independent engineering company for wind turbines, Lagerwey Wind, received the evaluation report of wind turbine L 82 with 2 MW from GL Renewables Certification. The evaluation report contains all of the calculations for the successful certification of loads according to the IEC 61400-1, Edition 3. Lagerwey Wind is the second of GL's customers fulfilling this standard.
